Thank you for joining the EFA for another great season of youth football.

● The information below is provided to ensure all parents can plan ahead and participate in the uniform distribution & sizing confirmation process.

● Most importantly, it is important that we get jersey sizes confirmed and documented on August 14th.

● ALL jerseys will be going to the printer on the morning of August 15th. We will print players' last names on their jerseys.

● We have a tight turnaround to get them back in time for EFA photo day on August 23rd.

● Printed Jerseys will be distributed at the August 22nd practice.

ACTION: If your player will miss the August 14th practice, please email Janel Payne at brakkepayne@gmail.com. Janel will work with you to ensure your player has the opportunity to confirm their uniform sizes.

August 14th Logistics & Details

Volunteers will be available at your practice location starting at 4:30 on August 14th. They will support parents and players in confirming uniform sizes before practice from 4:30-5:30 and after practice from 7:00- 7:30 pm.

NOTE: New this season: In addition to jerseys, the EFA has purchased game pants and girdles for all players. Please expect a $100.00 refundable deposit to be paid via check and returned/voided when items are returned at the end of the season. EdinaFootball.org

Process

● Each Player will have a bag with their name on it. (The bag will contain a pre-assigned Jersey and game-day pants.)

● Find your player's bag and have your player try on the jersey and pants.

● Confirm the Jersey and pants fit and check with a volunteer to ensure it is documented.

● Give back the jersey, in the bag, to the volunteer. The Jerseys go to the printer on August 15th.

● If the pants fit, have your player pick out the same size of a girdle and have a volunteer document confirmation.

● The $100 refundable deposit must be collected BEFORE a player can take the game-day pants & girdles home. The deposit can be made via check to the EFA. Provide the check to the volunteer, and they will document it has been received. At the end of the season, once the pants and girdles are returned, the check will be voided.

Sizing Issues

● If a major sizing issue (i.e., it looks baggy and bad), have the player try on another size from the sample box. A volunteer who has the box will help you.

● Let the volunteer know the preferred sizes needed. They will document what is needed.

● Janel Payne will follow up with parents on August 15th regarding sizing issues.

NOTE: Uniforms will NOT be perfectly sized for each player. We WILL NOT change jerseys, pants or girdles unless there is a remarkable sizing issue. The uniform assignment is the hardest process, and it will never be perfect. In the future, we hope to have parents identify uniform sizes in the registration process. We recognize this process is not ideal and are working to improve it.
